Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 31, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Mom's Next Best Home handles information when families search for senior care, save preferences, view listings, contact a community, manage an account, or ask us for support. Our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice provides additional detail for information that may reveal care needs.

Information we collect

We collect account and contact details; care-search preferences such as care type, general timing, location, price, room and service preferences; messages and selections you choose to share with a community; favorites and listing-view activity; support communications; device, security, and basic service-use data; and consent, billing, and provider outcome records.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, insurance member IDs, financial account information, medical records, medication lists, or detailed clinical histories through a lead message.

How and why we use information

We use information to provide search and matching, save requested preferences, connect a family with a selected community or agency, operate accounts and billing, prevent fraud and abuse, measure whether inquiries are useful, provide support, comply with law, and improve the service. Matching is informational; it is not a diagnosis, medical assessment, eligibility determination, or medical advice.

When information is shared

After a clear sharing action, we send the contact details, selections, and optional message shown in the disclosure to the community you selected. We may also share information with a connected agency when you ask it to act for you. If that community uses a connected customer relationship management service, the service may receive the same inquiry information on the community's behalf so its team can respond. We may also share information with vendors that host, secure, support, or process the service under contract, and when required for legal, safety, or corporate transactions. We do not sell lead information or permit providers to resell it or use it for unrelated marketing.

Retention and security

Names, contact details, messages, lead qualification details, and provider internal notes are scheduled for redaction 24 months after a lead's last activity unless a documented legal hold applies. Minimal pseudonymized consent, billing, and outcome evidence may be retained for seven years. Other records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent. You may also update profile preferences or decline to provide optional lead details. Submit and track a request through our privacy request form. We verify requests through the signed-in account and may ask for additional information when required. You may appeal a declined request through support.

Children, changes, and contact

The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. For privacy questions or an appeal, use our support page.
